We secured the contract to provide a full review of the costing and contract pricing of services at a Mental Health Trust in London. The review covered mental health, specialised and community services and was jointly commmissioned by their co-ordinating CCG commissioner.
The review included a high-level review of key service pathways and analysis of the current costs of providing the services commissioned. The costs were then benchmarked for efficiency to give commissioners a view of where a ‘reasonably efficient’ service was being provided. Recommendations were made for pricing the services in future contracts, to allow the parties to move away from block contracts over time. We are pleased to say the report was accepted by both provider and commissioner in September.
